Customs data shows that in June 2024, China exported 137000 tons of aluminum foil, a month on month increase of 5.2% and a year-on-year increase of 28.0%, maintaining a slight fluctuation on the month on month and a significant year-on-year growth trend.
Looking at the target countries, India still ranked first in June, while Thailand, Mexico, Indonesia and other countries ranked high. In June, China's aluminum foil exports to the top 10 aluminum foil export target countries amounted to 81200 tons, accounting for 59.32% of the total aluminum foil exports.
According to SMM research, there was no sign of fatigue in aluminum foil export orders in July, and the export volume is expected to remain stable. However, in the short term, the global terminal economy, coupled with the unpredictable international situation and frequent trade frictions, poses a risk of a decline in the export volume of aluminum foil in the future.
